Sparkpeople is a weight loss/fitness site I used it for a while, sometimes tracking food and exercise, other times just tracking exercise. There’s message boards, articles, et cetera.
One of the more popular topics was “What I’ll do when I’ve lost weight”. Like wearing shorts, or a tank top, or a swimsuit. This was surprising, but also a bit sad. Why?
Those are things I already do.
I go on trips. I buy and wear clothing that fits. I go dancing with my sweetie. I flirt back at people who flirt with me. I’m not waiting for my life to begin.
My life is now.
There is nothing morally wrong with living your life at the weight you happen to have.
